PRICE : 89P. REVIEW: I've been a great fan of the Digital Concert and R.A.F. Megamix series of disks for over a year now. I myself felt that these disks could`nt be bettered in the chart-mix stakes. How wrong I could be. Back in the summer of this year I got hold of a copy of the Megaconcert by The Sect. When I first heard it I was stunned. Now, five months later, i`m still amazed at the brilliance of this disk. The disk kicks off with a fist flying towards your computer screen. After that you`re presented with The Sect logo. You`re then shown a ticket which entitles you to enter the concert. After this the music begins. The samples which nestle between the beats are all excellent, and include Black Box and Snap, big names eh? There's something about this music disk which puts it light years ahead of the rest. I`m trying to think what it is, ah, I know, it never becomes samey. No matter which chart megamix you listen to, you`ll notice one thing, they all seem to be very similiar in places. Some suffer the disease more than others. Some musicians seem to think that looping the same sample 8 times is acceptable, The Sect obviously don`t. The graphics on the Megaconcert are pretty good. They depict a stage at night. On the stage are allsorts of flashing lights and objects to keep you entertained. Yes I know, this review is starting to sound like an advert for The Sect. Let me conjour-up something bad to say about the Megaconcert! I`ve got it, the scrolltext is a little hard to read. Miss out on this disk and prepare to hold your head in shame. RATING....92%!!! AM/FM
